Premium cotton is combined with copper and silver, plus a coating of carbon, to provide effective shielding attenuation of up to 38 dB. It is groundable for LF (low-frequency electric fields).

This NATURELL ULTRA shielding fabric, which is not only visually appealing, is the ideal choice for use in curtains and canopies. This product from Swiss-Shield® is a semi-transparent cotton fabric and offers effective protection against high-frequency electromagnetic fields (HF) as well as low-frequency electric fields (LF).

As part of the innovative ULTRA series by Swiss Shield®, NATURELL-ULTRA™ represents a significant extension of the product range. Thanks to the coating of the silver/copper filament with carbon, these shielding fabrics are not only suitable for HF fields but also specifically for shielding LF fields due to their electrical conductivity, making them groundable.

The NATURELL ULTRA shielding fabric is made from a special cotton fabric and has been awarded the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label. This patented high-tech yarn is made of 81 % cotton, 17 % copper, 1 % silver, 1 % carbon, achieving effective shielding attenuation values of up to 38 dB.

Applications and Capabilities of NATURELL ULTRA™

Due to its light transmittance, this shielding fabric is ideal for curtains and canopies.

The compelling properties of the NATURELL ULTRA shielding fabric include

  • High shielding attenuation for a cotton fabric
  • Can be grounded due to its electrically conductive surface
  • Good value for money
  • Textile properties: Washable, ironable, sewable

This product with an electrically conductive surface also shields against low-frequency electric alternating fields (LF). Products with an electrically conductive surface must be grounded by incorporating them into the functional equipotential bonding (FEB).

The resale of custom-cut shielding material of this performance class is either not possible or only possible with significant financial loss, and therefore legally falls under the exception to the right of withdrawal.
