A300 HEMP is double-laminated with thick, micro-perforated aluminum foil. This ensures redundancy and material thickness to meet the Military Standard MIL-STD-188-125. This standard, aimed at protection against powerful electromagnetic pulses (High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse = HEMP), safeguards critical infrastructure. It requires minimum shielding not only against high-frequency fields but also magnetic fields from 1 kHz. Produced in-house in Germany. Although developed with military applications in mind, the A300 HEMP shielding fleece makes this high military standard accessible and affordable for everyone.

With micro-perforation featuring 400,000 tiny holes per square meter, the material is highly water vapor permeable. The micro-holes are so small that they do not affect the sensational 123 dB shielding attenuation. To meet the requirements of MIL-STD-188-125, a two-layer application is necessary. The test report from EMCC DR. RASEK refers to two-layer processing.
Our A300 HEMP provides professional installers with a solid foundation for a complete shielding concept per MIL-STD-188-125, where many details must be considered: overlaps, doors, windows, cables, ventilation, etc.
For shielding projects that do not need to account for low-frequency magnetic components, a single-layer application is fully sufficient, as redundancy is already provided with one layer.
Grounding of A300 HEMP

Processing the A300 HEMP Shielding Fleece
Surface Preparation: Absorbent or chalky surfaces must be pretreated with our GK5 Primer.
Adhesion: Cellulose glue does not adhere to the aluminum sides. We recommend our PSA Adhesive, which creates a self-adhesive surface (excellent adhesion for wet or dry installation).
Overlap: The strips must be glued with a 5 cm overlap. The edges of the strips should also be sealed with a shielding tape (with highly conductive adhesive); a tested tape will soon be available in our range.
Contact Materials: Due to the aluminum layer, all direct contact materials used during processing must have a neutral pH value between pH 4-9.
Shielding per MIL-STD-188-125
The conformity of this product with MIL-STD-188-125 has been verified by the accredited laboratory EMCC DR. RASEK. This product meets the minimum shielding requirements for magnetic fields from 10 kHz to 10 MHz and high-frequency fields from 10 MHz to 1 GHz. Additionally, high-frequency fields from 1 GHz to 40 GHz were tested according to ASTM D4935-10.
Order quantity, revocation of the order and small quantity surcharge
If the netting has been cut in pieces of 1.0 running meter as requested by the customer, it is not possible to cancel or revoke the order. For this reason, it is possible to request a free sample of the shielding underlay membrane. By ordering pre-finished products, waiving the statutory right to return goods is accepted.
Small quantity surcharges for small quantities up to 3 running meters have been removed for reasons of transparency and fairness. The individual linear meter therefore always has the same price or price advantage for larger quantities. To refinance expenses and packaging, we charge a flat rate of € 6,90 per cut.
