Made out of a fabric mesh with stainless steel threads, this blanket is designed to be grounded easily and quickly and to protect you on the couch, in bed, on business trips, or while playing video games.

The shielding fabric used here is a tightly-woven mesh made out of cotton wool, polyester, and stainless steel threads. Please note: Despite the very thin stainless steel threads, this blanket cannot be described as “comfortably soft” on the skin. This blanket feels like a slightly scratchy woolen jumper. Its function and effect are clearly at the forefront here. However, you won’t feel anything anymore laying on the blanket on the couch or wearing pajamas in bed.

We use this particular and robust shielding fabric to spare the customers’ wallets as well. The fabric is very durable, can be washed without any problems and has a considerably longer lifespan than all other shielding fabrics that use silver threads for protection.

The set contains a grounding plate that is attached directly to the blanket. The Velcro fastener ensures that the grounding cable doesn’t come off, even if you move in the night. The connection to the earth works perfectly all night as a result. The conductive material becomes contactable with these plates and can be connected to the socket’s earth.

The grounding cable connects the grounding plate on the blanket to the earth on the socket or to the earthing rod (purchase optional). Choose the available length that is best for you. We generally recommend buying a cable a size up. Sometimes, the distance between the earthing spots is further than you think.

Depending on the location of usage, another type of plug might be needed. Choose the right plug for the country it is mainly used in. The optional world plug set expands this individual plug into a connection option in the whole world. However, the world plug set is not designed for permanent use, therefore the individual grounding plug is absolutely necessary.

We know from practice that there are many reasons why an earthing system cannot be connected – starting with a broken cable to being simply forgotten by the electrician at the time of building the house. It is actually as tragic as it sounds. It can happen that the grounding is not connected to the socket or that it is not even provided for in the respective country at the socket.
