6 watt feel-good LED SPOT Pure- NEO with GU10 socket. A natural BIO LIGHT with excellent color rendition and almost “flicker-free”. Not dimmable.
The emitted light from this Pure-Z NEO LED SPOT almost mirrors the continuous spectrum of incandescent or halogen lamps, minus the portion of heat radiation (IR or infrared radiation). This LED SPOT is suitable for any lamp equipped with a GU10 socket.
In the world of LEDs, it’s the details that matter most!
The colour rendering index (Ra or CRI) is a metric that illustrates how the light impacts the colour presentation of objects in comparison to natural daylight (independent of colour temperature). While incandescent bulbs have a CRI of approximately 100, these LEDs boast a commendable CRI of 97.
The colour temperature represents the perceived colour of a light source. Warm hues (warm white, 2700 K) have a lower Kelvin value, while cooler colours (cold white, 5000 K) have a higher one.
The beam angle is around 38°, allowing for highly precise focus on the desired area. LED lamps, made of semiconductor material and operated with an integrated ballast, produce a “light flicker” (pulsation). This pulsation has been minimized (below 1%) in the “Spot” LED.
Electromagnetic pollution: The Pure-Z NEO LED SPOT has been designed to generate technical fields of low intensity, similar to those of a conventional light bulb.
Time of day considerations: The light spectrum of this LED SPOT has a slightly higher blue component when compared to incandescent or halogen lamps. As per medical experts, this can impact our wakefulness or sleep patterns (melatonin production). Consequently, we advise using LEDs in “active areas” (desks, kitchens, hallway lighting, etc.), and for evening reading. For bedside tables or pre-bedtime periods, consider continuing to use incandescent bulbs or G9 halogen lamps.
LED spot Pure-Z NEO almost flicker-free!
Performance data of this LED illuminant brought to the point
- GU10 socket
- 6 watts (corresponds to the light output of a 40 Watt light bulb)
- 480 lumen luminous flux
- Maximum flicker reduced – pulsating light / pulsation < 1%
- Color rendering index: CRI 97, for colours that are as authentic and eye-friendly as possible
- Color temperature: 2700 K (Kelvin), for warm white light
- Average life: 15.000 hours
The new EU energy label since 2021
The new EU energy label for light sources, which will apply from September 1st, 2021, not only looks different, it is also based on new, stricter classification criteria. As a result, lamps and lights are classified in lower energy classes. However, nothing has changed in terms of the power consumption of the lamp.
