CONFIGURE THE LAMP

Shielded table lamp made of beechwood, conical in design. Featuring a lampshade made of chintz, a cotton fabric, in a NATURAL design. Suitable for bulbs with an E27 base.

Ecology, renewable natural substances and comfort are the main features of this shielded lamp series from DANELL. The table lamp consists of the natural product wood. Every single turned lamp base differs from the next in colour and grain. After production, the beech wood is treated with natural oil wax (Auro 129). In combination with various lampshades, this results in a flexible application as a luminaire in the bedroom, living room or children’s room.

In addition to protection against alternating electric fields, other aspects of building biology were also taken into account. For example, the inner reflector of the lampshade is made of paperboard. The reason for this is the prevention of any evaporation by this reflector.

Unique shielding basket for replacing the light source

An unshielded lamp (protection class 2) with an unshielded connection cable produces an alternating electric field of 100 to 160 V/m. Consider: The recommended guideline value for building biology is a maximum of 10 V/m!

This shielded lamp (protection class 1) with the corresponding construction only produces an alternating electric field of a minimal 0,4 to 0,6 V/m.

The production of our lights from beech wood takes place in Germany, which concerns the production as well as the assembly. The high-quality lighting parts are the result of the craftsmanship of people with years of experience in their craft. This local production enables the replacement of individual parts, such as the mains connection cable or the lamp shade, even after years.

Pay attention to healthy light when buying lamps!

Healthy light from a building biology point of view, is a light source modelled on the sun

without flickering, as close as possible to 0 Hz (Hertz)
a light spectrum/colour spectrum that is as close to nature as possible, without the predominantly much too high proportion of blue light in an LED, for example. This serves to protect the macula (prophylaxis against premature macular degeneration).
Day-adapted colour temperature, i.e. full spectrum during the day and warm light in the evening.
