Findings: Alternative cancer treatment with CBD
The most recent studies with cannabidiol (CBD) / hempseed oil (extracted from the hemp plan) show astonishing effects on cancerous cells.
A normal cell has the ability of “apoptosis”, which means that the cell destroys itself if something goes wrong with the cell division. A cancerous cell does not have this ability. It seems that CBD gives this ability of self-destruction back to the cancerous cell which then destroys itself.
It will be shown in the next few years if CBD can actually lead to a sustainable change in cancer and cancer treatment. In any case, a professional medical consultation should be conducted before taking cannabidiol CBD, if it is needed.
