This linen is sewn with the same shielding fabric as our Electrosmog PRO sleeping bag and shielding blanket for relaxing. The linen protects from LF electric alternating fields and can be grounded. It also offers effective protection from radiation from WIFI, cell phones, smartphones, DECT, LTE, etc. with an attenuation of up to 42 dB.

Because the head remains unprotected with the shielding linen, it is a reduction of the burden and not all-around protection, which the Electrosmog PRO canopy manages to offer a lot better.

Stainless steel threads are sewn into the fabric because they are considerably more durable and stable than fabrics with silver threads during vigorous movement. The fabric scratches the skin lightly, similar to a woolen jumper. If you sleep in it naked, this can disturb you – however, if you are wearing pajamas or other night attire, it will no longer trouble you.

The linen is made up of two parts – the bed sheet and the duvet cover. The bed sheet can be covered by an additional sheet or fitted sheet if needed. The duvet cover is sewn differently on both sides: a gray side with shielding fabric and prepared for grounding, and a white side made out of cotton wool (Warning: the color may vary) that feels more cozy and comfortable.

This set exists for one reason: You will never forget any important parts needed for the grounding.

Velcro grounding plate

The set contains a grounding plate that is attached directly to the bed sheet and the duvet cover. The Velcro fastener ensures that the grounding cable doesn’t come off, even if you move in the night. The connection to the earth works perfectly all night as a result. The conductive material becomes contactable with these plates and can be connected to the socket’s earth.

The grounding cable connects the grounding plates on the bed sheet and the duvet cover to the earth on the socket or to the earthing rod (purchase optional). Choose the available length that is best for you. We generally recommend buying a cable a size up. Sometimes, the distance between the earthing spots is further than you think.

Grounding plugs for specific countries

Depending on the location of usage, another type of plug might be needed. Choose the right plug for the country it is mainly used in. The optional world plug set expands this individual plug into a connection option in the whole world. However, the world plug set is not designed for permanent use, therefore the individual grounding plug is absolutely necessary.

With this socket tester, checking the grounding of the socket becomes a plug-in issue. In just a second you will find out whether you can effectively connect the ceiling to the earth. We know from practice that there are many reasons why an earthing system cannot be connected – starting with a broken cable to being simply forgotten by the electrician at the time of building the house. If the grounding is not connected, the canopy cannot protect the sleeping person in the canopy from electrical alternating fields from the house electricity, despite the preparation.

OPTIONAL: Earthing rod for a reliable earth

It is actually as tragic as it sounds. It can happen that the grounding is not connected to the socket or that it is not even provided for in the respective country at the socket. Or the laid grounding cable is damaged and nobody noticed. Whatever the reason, this ground rod will solve that problem. Simply stick it in the ground, outside the apartment, house, caravan or tent and connect it to the ceiling – that’s it. It even enables the positive earthhing effect.
